After some info about wiring a set of Gti fogs to my 6n2.

How easy is it to get the switch out of the dash . I have bought a loom so im guessing this is just plug and play ??

The wiring for the fogs is normally stowed behind the bumper cover, to remove the light switch With it in the OFF position, push the knob in and turn it clockwise slightly, hold it in this position and it will then pull out of the dash

Does this mean that the dash is also hiding the fog light wiring behind the switch somewhere ???

Yes the wiring should be there from the switch through to the two connectors behind the bumper for the fogs. There should be a White/Yellow wire in pin 8 of the main light switch connector

On my polo it was all already there. The wiring for the spots was blanked and clipped inside the spot light grille each side and on to the body of the car. You should see it easy enough. All you have to do with the switch is replace it with one that has the spotlights on it. I think there is a lupo one with chrome on it that is much nicer than the standard one.
