So I haven't got the polo yet, but thought I'd get the thread going!

 

So.. Sunday night I went for a pint & while we were at the pub I showed my mate a few polos on eBay I've been looking at. 

This one had a few days left, but was up cheap so I put a bid on thinking nothing of it. Go forward a few days, go to check my eBay & find out I've won it! 

Turned out to be the most expensive pint I've ever bought that!

 

Bad timing though as I'm away but having spoken to the guy I've agreed to pick the car up next week! :)

Also, my brother is breaking a 1.4 seat arosa(front impact) & still has quite a few parts left, so I was just wondering what parts are interchangeable with the polo? :)

No parts are interchangeable with the arosa and mk3 polo sorry dude but a nice base to start on there and I like the twingo that looks good

i thought a few parts would be though as the arosa is basically the same as a polo?

The Arosa is from a different era to the MK2f so apart from the wheels there is nothing directly interchangeable

Polo update,

So far I've broken the boot lock, found a leak in the boot, changed the coolant & changed the drivers side bottom arm.

Drove her as a daily last week & had no problems at all, will sit in traffic just fine, but is too slow!

 

So nothing interesting on the polo so far..

 

But.. The twingo now has a paddle clutch & lightened flywheel which me & my mate fitted this week :) which means I can get more power from it!

Sills are pretty solid..

what engine is the polo?
