1990 Polo Classic Saloon Calypso Blue

Featured Replies

1990 Polo Saloon for sale in Calypso blue. I have owned the car for 5 years now and its time to move on to buying a van for work.

Calibre eclipse gold wheels, lowered on TA Technics coilovers on the front, I have the backs but the offset on the wheels mean that they don't fit nicely, lowering springs on the back.
The interior is mint with very little wear on the upholstery.
The car did suffer a crash a few years back which went down on the insurance as a cat D I think? It was too costly for the insurance to pay out for it so I did myself. I never got round to painting it as I wanted to strip it an respray the whole thing.
She's a bit rusty in places but no rot just surface rust.
I have a whole heap of receipts for a new clutch, fuel pumps, tappets, spark plugs, air filters, wheel bearings etc etc.
The Bonnet is a  bit dented from what I can only presume was someone sitting on it and the front near side wing has a dent in as well.

The car has 79,576 miles on the clock and is currently on a sorn.
The MOT expired in April I think? and will need some work to get it back on the road.
As far as I can remember, it will need new tyres and tracking doing.

Looking for about £900
Open to offers, I can only say no.

These cars a increasingly rare and I'm lead to believe this is the only one left in this colour, located in Welling.

I don't get on here much so if you're genuinely interested my number is 07506106284

Have you got any idea how much work is needed for MOT?

It's not a great deal as far as I remember. It doesn't need any welding which is the main thing, I think it needs two new front tyres, tracking doing, maybe front wheel bearings as well and a windscreen washer jet. If there's anything else I can think of I'll let you know, it's currently dry stored in a garage.
