Seems like all I ever  do is bring you problems . . .  

 

My daughter has some serious issues with the running and starting of her 2004 Polo 1.4 Tdi (AMF engine.) So much so that she had to buy a different car just to get to work. I could explain in detail what the problems are but suffice to say that a diesel 'specialist' (no names. no pack drill . . . ) took her for quite a bit of money without sorting it out and it all went south from there.

 

Since she has a different car on the road there's no insurance on the Polo and she can't get it to a garage, so she's looking for a competent mobile mechanic to come and give her a quotation to put the car back on the road - she needs to be able to make the decision whether to repair it or cut her losses and scrap it.  What she doesn't want is someone who will make a guess and change parts until they hit the bullseye - she's tried one of those already . . .

 

We're in North-East Wales, not a million miles from Mold. Can anybody make a recommendation please?
