Hi I've got myself into a pickle with my car, hit a kerb and it has caused some pretty savage damage to the left frame where the lower control arm connects to the hub/strut assembly... I'm just after some advice and maybe a solution to this that doesn't cost a crazy amount of money... I have had an idea from seeing a chassis upgrade on polo performance parts, and was wondering if this could be a cheap fix to the problem I haven't got a picture yet, but I will take one when I get back from work it has ripped/torn away from the chassis around where the inside of the arm connects to it. It's not a massive tear from the chassis but enough to make it a serious issue! Any information or help would be great! It's either that or scrap the car and get a new one by the looks of it!

Correction

As you say, not a massive amount of damage BUT it would be better to have someone with a jig to sort it for you.

Even if you have access to welding equipment, without a jig, the chances of getting the steering geometry correct are not good - it is easier to get it right first time, than to try and correct a poor repair afterwards.

will take some specialist equipement to pull that back into place  , cant see it being cheap
