Hi all.

We have a 1983 breadvan that we are trying to fit a set of 6x13 alloys on with an offset of ET13. The plan was to run them with 145/60/13 tyres.

Problem we have is that the inside spokes of the front wheels catch the caliper carrier, which is of quite a wide design. Any ideas? Can that portion of the caliper be ground down? Any appropriate spacers? Obviously spacers would need to be on the slim side as the wheels are wide enough as is? Is there an alternative caliper option? Thanks

I'm surprised that a wheel with an offset of ET13 is coming close to the caliper in the first place. Are you still running the standard calipers and carriers?

Thanks for reply. Yeah, the caliper are the standard set up. I've attached a photo of the carrier. It just seems to have a very bulbous overhang in its casting. I can't see that it being the end of the world by relieving it of some metal tbh, but just wondered if anyone else has encountered this issue before?
