So here we go,

 

Two years ago my beloved mk3 coupe was taken off the road to have, shall we say, an "extensive" makeover.  I had plans to bike carb a 1.4 16v, get her sitting on some nicer wheels, weld the two small holes on either side of the chassis where the drain plugs are and completely revamp her interior. She took me well over 100,000 miles in four years with her original engine and showed no signs of slowing down, but because i wanted her to be faster and cooler she was taken inside my old mans garage and ripped to shreds.

 

Fast forword two years and here she is, heartbroken and relegated to my old mans paint booth where he angrily pokes her with his imaginary walking stick and occasionally balances cups of tea on her while getting her absolutely covered in overspray.

 

The engine is absolutely mint and came out of a running and extremely quick 16 valver. It never missed a beat and has had the timing belt and water pump done literally prior to being dropped in, as i had the best intentions for this car in the beginning.

 

She sits on a set of Ford wheels and a set of adapters and has a 70mm shock/spring kit all round. Theres a set of brand new Polo Performance ARB bushes on her (the cheaper version of the G laders) which have never seen the road and comes with more parts, spares, nuts, bolts, lights and extras than you can fit in this car.

 

Im travelling to Indonesia in March and I want to say bye bye to the beloved car before i leave, Ill be sad to see her go but it's the sentimentality that's got her in this state already, and she's due to either be loved again or killed once and for all.

 

I really would love to see her go in all her glory as one peice and I promise the person who buys her will leave my unit with more Volkwagen stuff than they can shake my old mans walking stick at!! 

 

£500 as per forum rules or nearest offer, ill chuck in her original engine mated to an 8p box to the first one to collect her. She does have a donor wing to the one that's missing in the car and also the bonnet, and the injectors and other bits for the 6n valver are also there.

was she originally a GT by any chance? haha desperately looking a GT head for mine thats been in the same position since i was 14 (now 21...)  lol

No I'm afraid she wasn't a GT...just a standard 1.3

1300 head = gt head 

I thought there were some small differences?

 

However I'm sure many many members are much more knowledgeable than I!

Where are you located? Could be interested in a few bits to throw at my project as its in a similar state

All 1.3 heads are the same @Adamwalder1995

The GT/G40 heads have slightly bigger ports. But the amount is tiny. 

I did think there was someeething different about them.

 

Any of you mods want this? I'm sure someone has room...£350 ONO!
