Mk2 door wndow rubbers

Featured Replies

Are there any new inside and outside window rubbers available for Mk2s and if so where do you get them from? I know this subject may have been covered before  but if they are not available are there any companies that would make some provided there were enough interest from owners.

Thanks for the replies so far

Just fitted the new pattern part seals and I'm very pleased with the outcome. Looks like the original in that the beading has the tooling marks on it which is a good visual. Hosed down and no leaks. Will cut to size and finish when it has bedded in.

Upload the pics to Photobucket, Flikr or similar, then copy the IMG code for the pictures and paste them into the reply box on here, then they will be displayed when you hit the submit reply button :)

Photobucket or Flikr are the easiest to use

Not quite the way I sent them. One shows the old damaged seal on the car.

click on the IMG selection where the hand is in the picture, it will then say "Copied" you just need to paste (ctlr v ) in the reply box on here then it will display the picture when you click the "submit reply" box

Not getting this on Photobucket on my S6

OK. Got it this time.

First photo is of the old split seal on the car. Second is the new seal from Woolies and the other two are with the seal on the car. Looks the part and does the job at a fraction of the cost of a dealership from Germany through VW Heritage coming in at over £100.

Just did an online search for Woolies. Going to let it sit for a while to settle in then cut and join. Not sure how to join yet have used tape in the past but will look for something more permanent.
