just safe timing, 10 degrees at 6500 rpm at 1.3 bar. so not a detonation detection circuit

 

afr 12.5 is good for top end power. afr 14 a 14.5 is good for max torque.(lamda1) 

 

also with a richer fuel u can run more advanced timing (flamefront is slower)
