Featured Replies

Evening all, I've bought and fitted some new clocks ? only problem is the needle for the temperature won't record the temperature just sits at the bottom.. Can anyone advise me of the issue? I'm thinking a sensor or switch? Thankyou

If you short the wire for the temp sensor to engine/ground the gauge should read full scale hot, this will prove the wiring and the gauge, if that is OK then it's the temp sensor that's failed

Ground the live or the neutral wire? Sorry if this is obvious.. thanks for the reply ?

The Brown/Yellow wire, short that to the engine, if the gauge goes full HOT then try again by shorting the two pins on the plug together and if goes HOT again you've proved the wiring and the gauge so it must be a duff sensor
