The Fuel gauge on my mark 2 Bready has decided to play up. It has been working fine and accurately, however I filled the car up recently (Brimmed it) and noticed it seemed to be doing very well on fuel, well the gauge has moved to half full and then she ran out of fuel! I have tried letting settle with just putting £10 in her, then filled but no luck. Any thoughts? I thinking maybe the sender is jammed in the tank?

As a quick test, short the sensor wire to ground and with the ignition ON the gauge should go to FULL this will prove the wiring and the gauge so only leaving a faulty sensor unit
