Ed China leaving Wheeler Dealers

Featured Replies

So the big car news of this week is Ed China is leaving Wheeler Dealers.

I've thought it was coming for a while to be honest, I don't get to watch too much Wheeler Dealers now due to not having Sky but the ones I have managed to catch I've noticed he is a lot less involved. They seem to be putting a lot more work away for 'specialists' to do and Ed seems to be more of a fitter than a mechanic. He seemed a lot happier in earlier episodes when he was given a £500 shit box, a budget of £3.50 and no help from Mike just buying new parts. I preferred those episodes too as everyone could relate to them.

Hopefully we see more of Ed doing his own thing from now on which would be great.

  • He should team up with Fuzz Townsend that way it would get rid of both of their useless presenter partners

Yea I heard yesterday, little surprised but I haven't seen the latest series. Wonder what will happen to the show and if it stays will Mike just front it from now on?

What a shame !  He is a fellow VW fan too!

At least Edd will not have to put up with that stupid hand shake anymore..

He posted this on his YouTube channel too.

Seems the format of the show will be changed so less footage of the repairs will be shown. That is what the show was originally based around!

He says he will be posted stuff on his YouTube channel though so be worth keeping an eye on.

He could easily make his own show 'China's Workshop' and do a how to and similar format to WD.

Best suggestion yet! I'd watch that.
