Hi guys,

 

I was hoping someone could give me a helping hand with the central locking kit i bought from Aliexpress. I tried to hook it up to my Vw polo 6n2 2001 but without succes, when i click the buttons on the flip key i hear te relais ticking 1/3 times depending wich one i press, but the pump doesnt activate.

I found out what the pulse wires where but when i connect the wires from the scheme for opening and closing it doesnt work.

Here are some pictures of the kit and scheme's as well as the connector that goes through the pump.

Really hope one of u guys can help :)

First Welcome to the forum.

 

You need to connect the Yellow & Yellow/Black wires from your remote control box to the Red/White wires on pins 1 & 2 of the pump, then the White wire to the White/Yellow wire on pin 7 and the White/Black wire to the White/Green wire on pin 10,

I tried this and its still nog working it only activates the relais 3 ticks.

i have te big red cable

with fuse also on red/white cable 1/2 and mass on brown cable all on rear connector at pump. Is this right? Or do i need to have positive wire straight from the battery.

The supply on the Red/White wires pins 1&2 are direct feed from the battery via fuse #41 So you need the Red, Yellow & Yellow/Black wires from your remote unit connected to the Red/White wires on the pump and the Black wire from the remote to the Brown wire on the pump, then if you have a voltmeter connect that to either the White or White/Black wire and you should get a 12v pulse when you lock or unlock, if that's OK then connect them to the wires I previously posted

Yeah i looked with voltmeter and got 0.9 mv. pulse when opening/closing. And on the red/white wires i got 12.45 mv constant. So i think they sold me a faulty unit iam afraid. I will contact the seller and see if they can send me a new one.

One thing i still cant figure out tho ... would it be possible that on Scheme Figure F. for the one with CV pump. it says u need to cut the main cable ( maby the Redwhite as constant ? ) and than White and White/black between it so u break the circuit and thats how its triggerd. Would this be possible? i really dont know tbh. i hope u understand what i mean with this. dont know if its correct tho

Ignore that drawing F I've installed a few of these units and it just needs to be connected as I've posted, Have you tried removing the jumper for Electric/Pneumatic ? Also is that an error in your voltage on the Red/White wires 12.45mV (millivolts ?) should be 12 V

i have the jumper on the pneumatic pins. i can try to remove it all together and see if it changes anything. I do not really thrust my voltage meter anymore so have to try another one tomorow. The Pneumatic pump is a new one because my other had alot of oxidation on the inside and it works well with the key so i think it must be something with the unit.  going to check now and take the jumper off

i tried to take the jumper of and switch in to the other pins as well but this didnt change anything. If the unit is connected and i put volt meter on the white or white/black wire and turn the key in the lock i should have 12 V pulse and this isnt the case. only the 3/clicks of relais when opening/closing and the Led is also blinking. so must be something be the unit than. :(

With the White & White/Black wires not connected to the pump wiring, you should get a 12v pulse when you press the remote not the key in the door lock,

i'm sorry , i meant with remote. with the multimeter i used i did not get 12 V pulse this way.  I was thinking that the problem is maby that i used Scotchlocks/Quick splice  for connecting the wires. maby that's not doing its job well. otherwise its just the unit not working correctly.

I tried measuring with other multimeter and for some reason i dont get any pulse on de white and white black when pressing the key.  Is there a chance that i maby need to connect other wires of the device? 

Fixed it ! ? Where those damn splice connectors.. i wired everything up straight to the battery and i got 12v pulse

Those "Scotch lock" connectors are not the best things to use, better to use inline red or blue crimps or cut and solder the joints

I did i used crimp connector its working now, only when i put jumper on pneumatic it also opens te windows half when i push open haha. When i put jumper on electronic its not the case.

dunno why its doing that. Think connecting the comfort module is nog that easy from the back right?

The reason the windows go down is when that remote box is set to pneumatic, it holds the open/lock pulse for a few seconds and the windows see this as the same as holding the key in the door lock in the open/lock position and that signals the windows to open or close

Yeah ok i see, Do u know if its a good idea to use the key-beard in the flipkey that came from china? or should i modify my spare key in? ( With transponder ) or can i order a good key-beard somewhere that can be mounted in the flipkey with the 2 micro screws on each side.

The ones I've fitted you can get the flip key blank cut to your key profile and then carefully put the transponder chip in the flip case, other people have just removed the transponder chip and taped it in the steering column surround so the reader ring around the ignition switch can read it and work the immobiliser

Hi @nige8021 i wanted too open a new post, but then i saw this.

 

I have a Polo 6n1 1998 with a pneumatic pump.

The wires i got on my pneumatic pump is:

RED/WHITE PIN 1
BLACK/RED PIN 4
BROWN PIN 3
BROWN PIN 8
GREY/RED PIN 7
GREY/WHITE PIN 10

 

i got this keyless entry system:

 

Its almost the same wires but different colors i think.

Could you guide me which wires go to the pneumatic pump and which cables i dont have to use.

OK although yours is a 98 it must be an early one as you have the 97 locking pump, so the connections are Yellow & Yellow/Black wires connect to Pin 1 Red/White wire +12v Live supply, White wire to pin 7 Grey/Red wire Lock signal & White/Black wire to pin 10 Grey/Black wire Open signal. the supply to the remote box can also be connected from the pump, Red wire to Pin 1 as previous & Black wire to pin 3 Brown wire Ground,  if you want to have the indicators flash when you operate the remote ? you need to connect the Brown wire to the Black/White wire Left rear light & Black/Green wire to Right rear light
