    Taken out the crank and the pistons ready to be cleaned, Also claened a few thing like the engine bay, block and altenator and the engine mounts  Will update again soon when i do more :)

I started by striping the interior and gave the bumpers some tlc with a heatgun

1st Polo show I went to back in 2004 there was a Framboise Polo on Powertec's. Was sweet.

After some time thinking i have decided to scrap the 1.0 litre engine and im hoing to go for something bigger and better? 

 

Yesturday I worked abit more on the engine bay and started cleaning ip some of the rust on the inner arch

 

the hole for the indicator wire where the battery tray is kept getting larger and larger hahah, the battery tray has some S*** welding done to it and has been filled with bathroom sealer and left to rust poor car could see the inside when i reach solid metal.

Bought two Cobra's Monaco S for £150 cant get much better mint condition just need a little clean!! Ideal!

whilst the engine is apart buy some 3f gt pistons at £30 a go and up your power a bit

I've decided i'm getting rid of the 1.0 and i've got my mind on something different that hasn't been done a lot ;)

Sorry for the lack of posts havent been able to do much recently because i just finished my btec level 3 in engineering but hopefully now i will be able to post more for you guys just keep an eye out ?

Easy to remove the windows with two people as I have dropped the glass on my own before.

Just peel back the rubber by hand and tuck it through the frame working your way around then the window will come out :)

Have one peeling and pushing inside and one out side holding it so you don't drop it.

Was test fitting my wheels the other day i tjink they look mint goes with the car well and im on the lookout for so.e coilovers.

I also want to know where can i get a seal for the front vertical part of the door window because im missing my passenger side one. Or will the ones off other cars fit like mk1/2 golfs?

Earlier i took the rear quater window out and had a look at the rust.

Tbh i was expecting alot worse didnt even get much bigger after i hit it eith the wire wheel on the grinder.

I will be welding soon because i get paid in the next two weeks so will be buying some metal sheet and a welder

Also have decided i will be removing the top part of the fire wall plate thing and just putting a strut brace so it gains abit of the strength back

Ive asked 3 local body shops and they do not have the paint code for the colour which is LP3D im in desprate need because i really want to keep the car the original colour because its so rare any help or links will be appreciated.

hey I had mine resprayed not long ago and spoke to LKQ which euro car parts co own and they had the original paint code for mine so worth given them a try.
