ive also finished smothing the hole where the carbon can thing was in the engine bay. i bent the piece of metal to suit the bends in the engine bay. i still need a layer of filler but you get the idea. HAHA

Other things that have happened.is that i have welded up the patch for smoothing the place where the heater originally went,

Still need to grind down the welds and fiberglass and filler it obviously but its getting there.

i have also patched up the hole where the wire use to come through to the engine bay.  still need to grind it down and filler it aswell.

red oxide'd yhe bay to stop the rust coming through. servo and pedal box fit nicely under the new section. most of the welds grinded down and welded most of the holes in the engine bay and started on tucking the wiring and cutting out all the wires i don't need for the engine.

I made a Rotisserie Jig from two ebay engine stands so i could work on the underside of the car without killing my back.worked well!!! spacer.png

So i started on wire wheeling the underside of shell to take off years worth of mud and road grime.

Also started stripping down the inner wheel arches.

Then i etch primered them

Shell was then starting to look good.

( These pictures are before the rotisserie was built )

etch primered the underside and then used tinted raptor and painted the underside the original framboise. the grey tunnel you see in the top right of the shell is a tunnel ive made fot the exhaust to go through and over the rear axle instead of under the axle. i need more reptor now to do the wheel arches.spacer.png

after the raptor i got the car back on all fours and now i can start on rubbing the car down for etch primer the shell and then start filler.
