I don't have a pump on my central locking fuse diagram

Featured Replies

Hi all, I'm now the proud owner or my 1st Vw Polo and the only issue it has is central locking fault. There is No vac pump! It's an 02 plate polo E. I don't have fuse diagram sadly.

Issue is: neither lock driver/passenger locks or unlocks all the doors they only lock themselves no noises no nothing! Where do I start as all I can find on net is Vac pump issues which mine doesn't have ? Thanks in advance guys and girls ...

First Welcome to the forum.   As yours is a 2002 9N1 or MK6 (on this forum) the central locking isn't done by a vacuum pump, it's all electric, the chances are it doesn't have central lockin

First Welcome to the forum.

As yours is a 2002 9N1 or MK6 (on this forum) the central locking isn't done by a vacuum pump, it's all electric, the chances are it doesn't have central locking, if it does the fuse is #50 15Amp

This is for a LHD so yours will be a mirror image of this

Fuse #50 is the fith one up on the column nearest to the "B" in the picture.

If there is a fuse in that slot, it is possible that the key fob has lost it's pairing with the car

That's great thanks, I have the fuse and it seems ok but replaced it anyway but still no central locking! The pins go all the way into the door so surely there must be c.locking?

The pins go flush regardless of central locking, the next step would be to get a scan done using VCDS to see if that shows any problems or if it has c/locking
