Hi, been away for 7 days, just gone to get in my Polo & nothing happens at all. RAC came out said the battery's gone. Under warranty 14821 on clock, any ideas apart from battery please? No warning lights, no other symptoms, absolutely nothing. VW have it now to run diagnostics but said battery could be fair wear & tear???

2 years is a bit early for a battery to fail, however things do go wrong, it could be the alternator has failed and it drained the battery. A battery is a consumable item so might not be covered under warranty? and you can bet they will try and wiggle out of replacing it under warranty if they can. They will be able to test the alternator to eliminate that as the cause for draining the battery.

Thank you for the welcome. I did say fair wear & tear was a bit unlikely due to age/mileage/condition of the car. They have it overnight, I just want to be prepared. I've contacted the dealer I bought it off too, only 9 weeks ago
