Right I have an issue that's dooing my head in a little now, anyeays me being a little silly some times put 2 m8- 25 bolts in my passenger side door latch because I was missing 2 somehow turns out the bolts were to long and after shutting the door to check it worked... it now fails to open at all from eather the inside or outside.  So Ivery removed my door card an passenger seat as it was stopping me from getting the card out, I've had a porch about and a good look online but still can't open my bloody door soo I'm hoping someone here could maybe help? :) please ?

Did you put the bolts into the latch on the door frame or into the lock mechanism on the door ? if it was the first then if can get a long screwdriver inbetween the door and frame you might be able to release the pressure and the door will open, if it was into the lock mechanism ? then you might of done damage to the internal workings and then you're going to have to try and get a hacksaw blade between the door and frame to cut the two legs of the latch

I can't quite remember the setup on the 6n, but you might be able to pull the handle cable a bit further than normal from inside, the give it a bit of shoulder. 

When you 'closed the door to check that it worked', did the door close easily/normally? - I'm just wondering if the heads of the new bolts have simply wedged the door shut.

If the bolts are on the striker plate, I wouldn't have thought that the length would make a lot of difference.

Sorry guys I've had technical issues ? umm no it shut fine when I sam to test but it did make a noise when the bolts were going in but the head was quite shallow tbh and I've tried tugging it hard but still no joy ?
