Mk2/2f Parts Clearout

My last lot of Mk2/2f bits are listed below. Postage for most things should be around the £5 mark. I would prefer the larger parts be collected from me in Southampton, but if this isn't practical, I can obtain a quote for shipping (although it might be fair bit more).

I've posted pictues of some of the parts below, but can get pictures of any other parts on request.

Interior

  • TIM Boost guage £5
  • Mk2 headlight switch £1
  • Mk2 hazard light switch £1
  • Mk2 fog light switch £1
  • Mk2 heated rear window switch
  • Mk2 full seatbelt set £5
  • Mk2 indicator stalk £3
  • 5 speed gearknob £2
  • Mk2 Coupe home made parcel shelf with Pioneer TS-A1703i speakers; made from 18mm MDF and braced to prevent warping; may split speakers £20
  • Mk2 glovebox; interior lining has fallen away slightly (see picture) £5
  • Mk2 back carpet; rear section only* £5

Exterior

  • Mk2 Headlights (pair) £10
  • Mk2 Coupe rear lights (pair) £10
  • Mk2 Orange side indicators (pair)
  • Mk2 Orange front bumper indicators (pair) £2
  • Mk2 front wiper arms (pair) £5
  • Front wipers (pair); unused and boxed £3
  • Mk2 Coupe S sideskirts £10*
  • Mk2 Coupe gutter trims (pair); slight buckling in both where they've been removed and re-fitted and one has minor cracking £5
  • Mk2 Coupe rear bumper; reasonable condition with slight scrape on one side (see picture) £5*
  • Mk2 Coupe rear bumper; boxed and in perfect condition £20*
  • Mk2 Coupe S badge; reasonable condition, some colour has rubbed away £5
  • Mk2 rear "VW" badge; reasonable condition, some colour has been rubbed off £3
  • Mk2 rear "Volkswagen" badge; in packet and in perfect condition £10
  • Mk2 Coupe "GT" rear badge; not to be confused with the Mk2F one. These are extremely hard to get hold of, but I have two. One is pretty much perfect. With the exception of a little bit of the sticky backing left on it, you'd be hard pushed to see it had been used before. The other is in good condition, but the colour has faded slightly, there are two tiny paler dots in the colour and it looks like something has rubbed it ever so slighltly. However, you've got to look very closely to see these imperfections. I'm not sure what they're worth, but will start at asking for £75 for the former and £60 for the later. Feel free to make an offer though. I'll probably hang on for a few weeks to see what I can get for them though. I'd rather not use eBay due to problems with timewasters.

Mechanical, under bonnet etc.

  • K&N cone filter; unused, 58mm connector £10
  • Genuine oil filter for G40 engine; unused and boxed, with sump washer £2
  • Mk2 fusebox £5

  • Mk2 Coupe rear wiper motor £5
  • Mk2f Washer bottle and motor £5

  • G40 clutch cable £3
  • Mk2 speedo cable; only covered a few hundred miles £5
  • Mk2f front washer bottle & pump £3
  • Mk2 rear washer bottle & pump; pump possibly faulty £2
  • Earth strap; from charger to chassis leg £1
  • Halfords 65mm exhaust clamp; unused and in its packet £1

  • G40 calipers; pair, one is new, probably refurbished, replaced a caliper where the bleed nipple got stuck and the other caliper is probably original. The rubber seal has seen better days £10
  • G40 charger oil seals; unused £10
  • Long driveshaft; pin prick hole in one CV boot, has been patched £6*
  • Short driveshaft; rubber on one CV boot is crackling slightly £5

Hi, Can you confirm the glove box if from a Mk2 Breadvan or is it from a coupe? There seems to be a locating lug missing from the back of it? Has it snapped off?

Regards

Doug

The glovebox came from a coupe, but I would imagine they'd be the same. As for the locating lug, the back of the glovebox was cable tied to something when I removed it, so it would be safe to assume that there was probably one there in the past that's no longer there...

Hi, thanks for looking at the glovebox for me. Will see if I can find one with the locating lug still attached.

Many thanks

Doug
