My Polo 6n. 2 doors. year 1998
I have a problem with ABS and I can not seem to solve the problem,
I checked the main fuse is normal and not broken,
I checked the pump itself and it works,
And the computer shows that I have a problem with the ABS brain itself, problem number 01044,
I also wanted to know if I have an "ABS" button on the Dashboard ??
Helppp me plss

That fault code indicates the ABS unit is not correctly coded

Control unit incorrectly coded	- Control unit -J104- incorrectly coded	- Check coding for control unit -J104- =>Page 01-49
	- Coding bridge in multi-pin connector to control unit -J104- open or short circuit   Code number Vehicle type 01901 Polo1995>	- Check wiring and connections using current flow diagram

Have these got sensors for each wheel? If one sensor broken then the chain is broken and ABS won't work. ?

I have the same problem.

There is a sensor on each wheel, but the fault code posted is not for a sensor problem, but for the unit not being correctly coded for the car.
