Has anyone ever removed the black bump strips from their doors? Thinking of taking mine off and was curious on what to expect underneath and what's the best way to remove them.

theyre held on with black sticky tape, heat them up and either peel off or use fishing line to slice them off

 

will need some solvent and a rag to clean up the tape
