I've had problem after problem with my little bready and now the outer race of the wheel bearing is stuck in the strut! I've taken every step according to the Haynes manual but the bearing was in such a bad condition it fell apart on the way out:(

 

does se anybody know a method to remove it? It's only about 1mm thick so there isn't a lot of room to work with

 

ive tried heating the strut and giving it some hard hits through a screwdriver with a hammer but no avail! I love my breadvan but hate spending money

Small saw blade and cut it and hammer a screw driver under to pop it up? 

 

do you have access to a welder?  if so run a weld around the bearing race and it will make it loose enough to belt out with a hammer and punch
