Hi....I need a rear axle for a 85 Breadvan 86c.......do the later 91-94 type also fit? About to weld up the chassis nearby and noticed the original is rotting around the pivot. Daughters car, and too good too scrap........just!

The later one fits. Only differences are...

 

Pre 84 cars have a different handbrake cable to post 84, so you'll need to change the cable guides across (just 4 bolts).

 

GT and G40 had a rear antiroll bar on the beam, it's nice to have as an upgrade.

Yeah, it can be a bit slow going some days. I've got one, but it's the one I took off my car, and to be honest, it looks like it's been at the bottom of the sea, so you probably don't want it!
