Hey polo people. Hope you're rad. The time has apparently come for a new battery on my mk2 breadvan. Trying to find more info on which battery to choose. I am running just a couple of extra things: double usb outlet in cigarette charger will be used to charge phone and bluetooth speaker that will be uses instead of stereo. Both will probly be plugged in at the same time and permanently while car is in use. 

Will this make any difference to which battery i use, and is there anywhere i can look to give me more info? Google comes up mostly with ads.

Just checked out tanya batteries website from an old clubpolo thread. 

standard battery will be just fine , thats nothing to worry about

Sweet. Good to know. Thank you. Had a bosch one before but didn't really have it for long enough to know whether it was any good. 

I use yuasa ones from halfords and theyve been great

Went with a bosch one. Actually had onr on my old polo that still had full charge despite being sat for 3 months. That was only a year old so gives me a bit longer till i need a new one.

I've got a Yuasa that I've had on about 3 different cars, still going strong. Lion (ECP own brand) was absolute toss, it was still good enough for the warranty after a year, but it wasn't cranking as well it did when it was new.

Yeah i just replaced a lion one with that bosch one. Dog toss.
