Bigger brakes Mk3 polo

Featured Replies

So I was looking at the FAQ into what calipers carriers and disks to buy and throw on my mk3 polo but all I could find was like 10 years out of date.

So I will pose this question to you lot can anyone just give me a definite parts list for what to buy that will work??

Ideally id like to fit bigger disks in as I have 15" inch wheels so a little bit more room, but if not just improved width for a vented rotor.

Thanks in advance

When searching parts using 2f or 86c will help you to avoid 6n parts which are mk3 officially

My coup has mk2 golf gti breaks, vw2 front calipers 239mm vented discs and rear disc conversion

You can fit 259mm vented front which are on my rocco with 15" whreels but not sure what car the were off, possibly mk3 golf

I've got 256mm front brakes using mk2 golf discs with Vauxhall calipers and carriers with some custom bolts and brake lines, had to fit a bigger mk2 golf gti master cylinder to firm the pedal up but they work great.
