Hi Polo friends,

 

I have a BlueMotion VW Polo 1.4 TDi 2009 Mk 4, that started to vibrate/resonate running in neutral, in gear, any speed on every revolution.

 

It started after having the following done:

 

1. All Lower Control Arm bushes changed to PowerFlex;

 

2. Eibach lowering springs.

 

The vibration becomes so bad, that I get pins & needles after 2-3 hour driving. It resonates worse as the roads get poorer. It’s constant. It occurs during rotational movement only. The wheels are aligned. The alloys are OEM in perfect condition. Not buckled. it occurs at all speeds. 

 

What could it be causing it? The Eibach lowering springs are slightly shorter than stock? Or the new PowerFlex bushing??

As silly as it sounds, have you had your wheels balance checked?

Yes. It could be the Torque mount.
