Hi what is the process i need to go through when buying a car without a v5 ?

Assuming it's not been written off, scrapped, or exported - send a v62 in with the relevant cheque (no fee if you've got a new keepers slip).

 

DVLA writes to registered keeper, to check you're legit. If they don't answer within 6 weeks, the DVLA assumes all is well, and sends you a v5

Ok I have no doc. I assume DVLA will send v62 form I can fill in and send cheque.
