Hi I've recently bought a mk2f breadvan as a bit of a project. I've noticed it leaking fuel slightly after it's been running just behind the fuel tank. I'm not 100% what it is called where its leaking from but I think it's the external fuel pump? Anyway was hoping somebody could help me out on what it is and where I could get a replacement from.
I have tried upload a picture but the file is to big apparently it is the small cylinder attached to the u shaped pipe.
Anyone know if the plastic arch trim from a Mk1 Caddy would fit a Polo Mk2F, in the description it says Golf>Caddy, I get the Golf arch is bigger, but the caddy and polo wheels show 13-15" where as the golf is 13-16" (according to wheel-size.com)
I dont mind abit of time a heatgun work...
I take it Mk2f repair panels are like hens teeth, and not really looking to do the Golf arch conversion or start learing to make an arch from a blank sheet 😕
Hi guys and girls
I'm hoping someone can help me.
I sold my Mk2f polo back in late 2016/ early 2017. It was FOX coupe in blue that was originally 1.0 but I converted it to a 1.3 GT engine with some mods, Piper Cam, Bigger intake and a few other mods. I'm sure the guy who bought it off me was from eBay by the name of George.
I'd love to have that car back as it was one of the nicest I have driven.
If anyone has any information or can point me in the right direction I would be very greatful, Maybe even some pint money!
If you could ask around any groups or friends that break polo's etc
The REG is L468 SYJ and it is not taxed, MOT'ed or Insured
I currently have mk2f polo coupe with a 1043cc 4 speed and im looking to upgrade to a different engine and looking for advice and which to go for 14 afh, 13 gt, 14 8v etc appreciate the help cheers
I replaced my rear exhaust back box rubber hangers last year after mot and 12 months later one has almost snapped and other one is one its way out. So looking for better replacement as sick of changing them every 12 months.
