I am looking a putting a new clutch in my 84 1.0 polo breadvan and wanted to know if I could change the gearbox to a 5 speed from a 1300 breadvan anyone know

Yeah you can, need to mount and anti roll bar too

You can, but the 1300 ratios will be too tall for a 1 litre, so 4th and 5th would be virtually unusable.
