Hi all, just 're kindled my bready project and coming close to finishing now.

What brands of coilovers can you buy for the mk1-3 polos?

I have a 86 breadvan and currently got some old TA technix coilovers (pretty much given to me) now before I go about restoring them I remember chat about Gaz coilovers? Do they still supply for polos?

If not what other decent brands are there?

Many thanks, Sam

GAZ shocks will still make up coilovers for these, but they require a set of original front struts to modify.

However, as a user of GAZ coilovers myself, I'd say they are a bit pointless if they are just being used on a road car.

In my case I basically spent £800 to achieve the lows and ride quality you'll get from a £300 H&R kit. Yet I had the hassle of having to set the ride height and the damping myself.

Which is why on my current project I've just gone for the H&R kit.
