Hi, my girlfriend has a 9n2. I took the front bumper off for some repairs and noticed it has a temperature sensor on the bumper. Does it have a display on the dash or does it have to be activated with vagcom.

9N2 ?  The G17 temp sensor does go to the speedo, does it have the multi-function switch on the end of the wiper stalk ? as the temp indication is only avail if you have this according to the wiring diagrams
