First Welcome to the forum.

 

The centre cover with the horn push just pulls off, then disconnect the wiring and then undo the large nut a few turns (this is to stop you smacking the wheel into your face in the next step), try pulling the wheel off, when it comes free , completly remove the nut. refitting is the same in reverse and tighten the nut to 50Nm

24mm I think ?? been a while since I had to remove one

Thanks, after asking i tried the 25mm and it is 25mm. I got the steering wheel of and generally looked and cleaned all i could see but the problem is still there. When i push hard on the wheel the horn goes off and sometimes when i turn a córner or even when i start the car, any thoughts? Thanks

Thanks Nige, i cant see a way of removing this contact ring from the back of the steering wheel, do I just prise it off? the two spring contact just pull off.
