Hey all . Firstly many thanks to the lady person that helped me here I really appreciate it.  Secondly so I've done a lot of work over the last 4 days and I'm at a bit of a loss. I've changed front subframe bushes arb bushes lower suspension arms discs pads exhaust system and wheel bearings. Oh and gone from standard steel wheels 14inch to 15 vw alloys. My question is the left side of my car is now higher than the right side after measuring from floor to arch each side it's out by at least 10mm and it's very noticeable fro. Drivers seat. I've knocked the tracking out left side too since doing the work which is going to be done tomorrow. Could the tracking issue as the wheel is now toe out I believe be causing the cars higher stance that side or could it be down to the arb. Everything is seated right torqued down according to haynes manual. And as far as I know I aligned subframe bushes up perfectly with original markings from centre of old ones pins and followed leaflet instructions for new ones. I'm going to check tyre pressure now just in case but I'm lost . Hope someone can help .

I have yes . I did the majority of the work yesterday but had only swapped the subframe bushes out on the left side yesterday so I put it down to that . Being a new one and drivers side being old and torn. I've driven it around and something feels really off too. It may just be because tracking is out and it pulls to the left but something just doesn't add up. And it's getting me worried. I'm going to drive down to the petrol station and see if the pressures are of in these new tyres in a minute so I'll see how it sits when I'm back .

Physically checked everything but nothing is jumping out at me. There's no play in anything there shouldn't be. All new components are functioning correctly. Took it for a drive noticed when turning the corner wheels screeching. It pulls hard to the left because of the wheel alignment being off. And either the new subframe bush wishbone bush or arb bush on the left side squeaked at me on a tight turn. Then when I got back the power steering pump is noisy now slight whine on it . I'm really lost because other than all the knocking from the underside with worn bushes and the wheel bearing noise I had no issue prior to this. I never heard a noise from the ps pump and the car sat level or at least I think it did. The tyres were down to about 1.8bar and should be at 2.4 and 2.8 but that didn't change anything..

Could have been an existing problem covered by worn bushes. Are top mounts and washer in rhe right order, done up and evenly worn?

Top mounts were replaced in June by previous owner at a vw garage In Leeds. I can see work that's been done from all paperwork I got with it. Also it passed mot in August with the advisory that both lower control arm pins or bushes worn but not excessive. No mention of anything else so I'm stumped. I'm hoping getting 4 wheel alignment tomorrow is going to fix it. I've just literally chucked the last of my money at it now.
