Which timing belt and water pump should I buy for my coupe gt 1991? I’ve come across numbers like 108 and 128.

128 if you have a round tooth cam pulley

Though waterpumps may all be square tooth

roughly mk2 is 108 , mk2f is 128

 

i would use somewhere like avs car parts , email them your chassis number and they get the right parts, not expensive either
