Any ideas of the strongest box for an 86c 1.3. Or where I can get uprated gear set.

You can fit an 02J box from a much bigger VAG car using an adaptor plate

Usually cable change. Not sure what the story is with driveshafts or gearbox mounts.

Or which 02J to go for. I only found TDI ratios when I looked and they seemed too long to me.
