Hi all, 

I'm looking at buying a 1l 1990 polo breadvan was hoping for someone's experience on how commutable this vehicle will be doing a 18 mile trip? 

 

Also if any one knows the below vehicle it would be a great help if you had any info for me.

they can be great daily cars if looked after and has received regular maintenance though its life, being an older car it will need looking after too

 

the stickers and look of that car would put me off...but if its your kinda style take a look, check it starts properly from cold and hot and idles well at all times , check everywhere for rust 

mot history mentions subframe mounting covered in underseal ...might be hiding serious problems as that would be an expensive fix

Cars like that are usually hacked about and run on minimum mantainence 

 

Not always the case but as a bove there are probably other sins hiding
