rocker cover gasket leaking

i am using a new rocker cover gasket and right where the top of the head dips , it is leaking oil from there when the oil thins out.

is it safe to use some sort of sealant in that dip?

also the oil pressure gallery hole that is beneath that dip is also sweating oil out of the threads. i was very reluctant to use teflon tape.

i don't know the torque setting on this.

thin smear on the half round shape ,always be mindfull of using too much as it squeezes out then falls off and blocks oil ways etc

sorted,

i actually loosened up the bolts on the opposite side and that allowed me to further tighten the bolt on the leak side.

obviously was extremely careful not to break the bolts as they are very small.
