I have a 1988 Coupe S and am lowering it on 14” BBS RA wheels.

Eibach stuff is decent, but B12's might be a bit much for road use. On an old Polo, it's hard to do better than the H'n'R Cup kits.

35mm all round or the 60/40?

 

pics of mk2 coupes on either would be v helpful

Bit of a thread resurrection!

I've just had the eibsch/b12 kit fitted to my polo.

Before I had a 40mm kit. The eibach sits higher, but the ride is a lot more forgiving. Still feels quite sporty.

(I couldn't get the 40/40 h&r, only a 60/40. Which is way too low on 13" wheels)
