Hi All. How to remove plastic side bars in 86c2f? I have not seen any plugs or screws. Thanks for any tips.

They're stuck on afaik with a sort of double sided tape. I always wanted to remove mine, and will eventually when decide to paint it. I have had to put the rear ones back on as when the quarters were painted they weren't put back on with strong enough tape.

Others will likely have done it and can offer decent advice, I'd guess a heat gun, patience and a thin flat prying tool of some sort.

 

You'll probably need a toffee wheel (I think it's called ) after to help remove the residue of the tape.

As above, gentle heat gun and dental floss or thin nylon fishing line then a "Toffee wheel" to remove the residue of the sticky tape or a rag soaked in petrol might get most of it off
