Seat covers

Featured Replies

Hi polo people.

Looking for anyone who has xp with seat covers on a breadvan or similar. Got a quote for £2k to get the interior of my bready done. It's a fair quote, but i don't have that money at this point. As a stop gap, i've been looking at seat covers. For a while, i just slipped an old hoody over the seat. Stopped the straw filling scratching me up.

Every search i've done for seat cover reviews, the top ones every time gave been the Walser Alessandro zip it covers. Halfords own are normally up there too. Does anyone have or know anyone who has fitted these or other aftermarket seat covers? I'm looking for a snug fit if possible. Any other suggestions would be appreciated too.

Thanks for stopping by and any guidance you're able to leave.

Walser's are good, had some that lasted about 5 years. (not allesandro).

Before that I had a set from Lidl or Aldi that looked like real leather. Headrest covers are a waste of time.

Now switched to some Sparco branded, but I have transferred the metal clips from the Walser as these new ones have rubbish plastic.

Got a big hole in the side for the seat airbag I don't have in a 1984 car.

Okay. That's a +1 for the Walser's then. I'll be sure to check out the Sparco ones too. Not seen them in the lists i've checked out yet. I'll be wary of the clips though.

It's reading reviews on amazon that made me jump on here for other peoples xp. I know there are people out there that buy somethin for dirt cheap and then get "surprised" when it rocks up and is pretty much what they've paid for.
