Might need some bonnet surgery for a power bulge...

Think it is 166mm high without any gasket!

Lancia Fe2O3, successor to the Y10.

I just had to google that :D

Need to keep the boost from escaping down the choke flap actuator hole.

Normally there's a rubber cap covering this. Had a go with a large rubber thimble

Then I tried some neoprene sheet to seal it off a bit while making a top gasket...WIN_20200412_14_50_05_Pro.thumb.jpg.c8807e3e2b8aa6eee8f4f5b274d59d1b.jpg

The super sharp blade cut a bit far... so used some vinyl glue to patch it up.

And I  made some rough jet calculations.

Got 47 idle and 105/F30/130 primary,

And 70 sec idle with 112/F38/145 secondary.

The 112 is probably  too small for 23mm venturi and boost with low compression pistons,  where I'll want 11:1 AFR or richer, but it wouldn't come out of the F38 emulsion tube.

It'll need drilling or a different emulsion tube.

I've got an F25 I could solder some holes in.

I'd rather have 120-ish  main.

Well it looks like it should have 120/F30/175 secondary for the 1050cc Y10, so 112 is wrong.

Should be more like 130 to 140. What was I thinking?

I've got a 150. I'll try that and tune from rich down to lean. Much safer procedure with boost.

A chisel and a vice and a pair of wire strimmers and I finally got the 112 to twist and come out.

Now fitted the 150 main.

150/F38/145 - no risk of that leaning out hopefully.

Can't decide whether to glue it to the neoprene or to glue a light wide compression spring to the top of the boot.

Now there's just finding out how and when the second fuel inlet valve solenoid  is activated.

It is capped off here for none boost operation. The red wire activates to open.

The main inlet and return also has a cut-off solenoid valve.

I'm imagining a big red switch on the dashboard to enable and cut power.

SherryBerg ? have a clone 103/252 carb.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/carburettor-replace-weber-30-32-DMTR-103-252-carburetor-for-lancia-y10-turbo-226/324073698562

But it shows a vacuum operated secondary which is surely bonkers.

No valve on the secondary inlet either.

Maybe it is just putting boost pressure air into the fuel bowl. That could work with a rising rate fuel pressure regulator.

Cause how could you have two needle valves?
