Hello fellow polo owners.
I own a 93' vw polo 86c mk2f with a 1.0 4 speed box. I have seen a 1.3 gt engine and box for sale and I was wondering how much work is involved to swap the engine and gearbox. I think most of the parts from the old car are available wiring loam ecu etc what would I need to change, engine or gearbox mounts etc?

mounts are the same , if you can source all the parts its just a matter of swapping things over

 

will need all the engine loom , gearbox , main pump , rad 

 

pretty easy job with all the parts avail , plenty of people already done it if you get stuck 

rear beam is also an upgrade , and take the steering damper if possible too
