Does anybody know whether the following steering wheel from an '86 polo is interchangaeble with the steering wheel  on my '84 breadvan?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The wheel I have in my car is this one:

 

I saw somebody mention a change in the steering column around 1986. Not near my car right now to check it though

can be used ..all cars had the small spline column , later ones had an adaptor shoved on to make it big , if youve got the wrong combo remove or add the adaptor

Aha thanks. And then for aftermarket wheels there are alsof adapters that go onto the small spline?

both are avail....5 min job to pull the wheel off and have a look 

 

24mm nut
