Parcel shelf cords for 2f coupe

On my 2f coupe, one of the rubber parcel shelf straps has snapped.  It's probably died of old age.

This part is now obselete (861863447A) so I can't get it anywhere.

Golf MK2 ones are similar, but way too short - the polo one is about 35cm long.

 

Does anyone know of a similar replacement part from another car?
