A 3 pot engine will have shorter time between strokes than a 4 cylinder so even less time for valve cooling. Just what cylinder head recon was done?

 

Too hot spark plugs (wrong heat range) that don't take sufficient heat away to the  water jacket in my experience caused visible plug nose contact damage and that would misfire. Too cold can be a swine to start the engine with.

Thought you might want update, turns out still had silent misfire, change of injector helped... Also Cat 🙀 might need changed, got the cat cleaner stuff from Halfords...the cam sensor that was changed, think it's wiring fault as goes on and off.... Car running a dream at idle now...

I had all cylinders reconed... Seen pics?

Glad it is running better at idle.

Partially blocked cat won't help power.

 

Any fault codes?
