can someone shine some light on this i have a polo 6n 1.0l mpi shell and have put a 1.4 8valve engine in it when it started it ran lumpy so i changed plugs leads dizzy etc and now it wont run at all just confused someone help 

 

Just for some more information,

Does the starter run when the key is turned?

Has the engine run before?

What was the temperature like when you tried to start the car?

Do you know if the engine has the updated coolant temp sensor fitted?

As it did run (all be it badly) before and it doesn't now you have changed the plugs/leads & dizzy I would suggest you have have fitted one or more items incorrectly, the other thing are you trying to run the 1.4 on the original 1.0 ECU ? as it will not run very well on that ECU it need to be the correct 1.4 version
