yes the lift pump has a filter 

 

does it mention where its made ?

Cant find anything on the box apart from www.glencoeltd.co.uk 

For £55 it would be good to know where it was made. The £25 ebay jobs are usually China 

Finally got round fitting my new pump and while I was at it I replaced the fuel filter again. 

So for £55 I get the same amount of noise as the £25 one I removed due to it failing. 

 

So make what you want or that but let's hope it last longer than a few years like the old one did. 

Fuel pump holding up so all good for now.
