So I might be having my old polo back after 6 years, no the engine was taken out and used, so it's basically just a shell with interior ect, I'm looking at possible engines to put in it, looking around BBY engine is easy to get hold of do they fit in mk2 bread van 1989??

I put one in but it was from a 6n2 so it had the correct bolt pattern for the 085 gearbox. You don't want one from a 9n because they use the big Golf gearbox, which won't go in.
