I have a mk2 coupe S with twin headlamps. I am wanting to change to single headlamps. Can I use the same outer lamps and remove the inners or do I need to swap them all out? Would I be best to upgrade the loom while I'm at it? The originals are not great.

just remove the spots ...the outers are already dip/main

 

yes a loom /relay upgrade is a wise move

yes should be plug and play , maybe some wires to tidy up if you use a universal one

 

dont forget to unplug the resistor up near the fuse box....small tube looking thing with yellow wires
