Polo GT Throttle Position Sensor

Featured Replies

Does anyone have the part#, or a place where I can buy, a throttle position sensor for a Polo GT?

Would also really appreciate a place that has a proper diagram of all the parts of these cars.. sometimes you can find that sort of thing online but I'm not having a lot of luck.

Yeah, I'm using a stock ECU. I can try swapping them around and see what happens.

if you have the 2x2 lead and a copy of vcds you can at least view what its doing.

I tried this Topran TPS on my GT and it doesn't give the correct readings.  The GT expects an anticlockwise rotating TPS, but this one is clockwise.

I've struggled to get hold of an original GT TPS (030907385A) and have been using a VR6 TPS.  Once calibrated by the ECU it gives the same readings.

A question.  The TPS is a pretty simple gadget - it's a potentiometer.  Would swapping wires 1 and 3 in the plug convert the GT into accepting a clockwise rotating tps?
